Industrial Power and Lighting Corporation (IPL), is a “Full Service” electrical and communications company established in Buffalo, New York in 1961.  Since its inception, IPL has become one of the largest electrical and communications contractors in the Western New York area.   The company is a commercial / industrial contractor, servicing businesses, institutions, and municipalities in New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.

As a “Full Service” company, IPL has the ability to perform any type of electrical and communications work, including new construction, upgrades, remodels, full line testing services, high voltage, temperature control, retrofit and performance contracting, fire and security alarm systems, plus much more.  We can provide data and communication equipment to our customers, including computer workstations and servers, printers, hubs, switches, routers, telephone and voice mail systems, and other communication products that may be required.

Our goal is to achieve one hundred percent customer satisfaction.  We strive to give our customers the finest installations.  This policy has allowed IPL to maintain a stable customer base, while at the same time increasing its market share.

We publish a quarterly newsletter to keep our cliental informed on the current projects being undertaken by our company.  We contact perspective customers via telephone and mailings, to introduce them to our services.   Our quality of work has sold itself, as we achieve most of our clients through references of existing customers.

The field of electrical and communications contracting is very competitive.  With constantly changing technology and installation methods, IPL must keep its personnel trained and versed in new technological advancements.   To do this, we invest in training seminars for our employees and electricians, we have in house training classes, and we hire personnel who have the ability perform specific installations.

IPL has its own data communications division, with a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) on staff.  We are a certified Panduit and Leviton installer, and an authorized distributor of NEC and Telecor products.  This division has allowed us to offer our customers a complete installation: power and data wiring, installation of hubs and switches, server configuration, installation of telephone switches, and telephone programming.  By offering our customers “full service”, the customer is able to complete the job with one contractor, which makes the coordination of the project much more efficient.

Industrial Power and Lighting Corporation is a fully insured and bonded contractor.  IPL has the ability to perform any size project.  We have a fully staffed office, a fleet of service vehicles, two fully staffed warehouse facilities, plus other capital equipment that is available to all of our projects.
